Dr. Suresh D.S. has directed Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology, Gubbi, since 2002 — transforming it from a nascent college into one of Karnataka's most respected rural engineering institutions.

His 30-year journey spans teaching, industry consultancy (Toshiba Japan, Cypress Semiconductors, Creative Labs Singapore), groundbreaking research in Biomedical Signal Processing and AI, and distinguished service on the Executive Council of VTU as Governor's Nominee.
